Pricing.
Simple, transparent ticketing fees.
Our fees are based on your ticket sales volume. Most clients start at around 4%, with considerably lower rates for large businesses.
Whatever your size, you get the same platform, updates and support. No nasty surprises.
How pricing works.
We base fees on your sales volume and the complexity of your programme. The bigger you are, the better your rate.
Your agreed rate is all you pay. No hidden charges, no web development needed to integrate with your website, no lock-in contracts. And you can add your own booking fees to cover all your costs.
Competitive price. Excellent service.
We have been using LBO for a number of years and have always found them extremely helpful and professional. As a Registered Charity we need to ensure our costs are low, but also that the site we use to sell our tickets is quick and easy. Little Box Office has all of this.

Things to consider when comparing ticketing providers.
Factors that can make a big difference to your bottom line.
Watch for:
- Booking fees passed directly to customers, causing checkout friction or “fee shock”
- Per-ticket surcharges that quickly add up for high-volume events
- Per-seat or per-user fees that increase as your team grows
Little Box Office gives you full control over booking fees. We don’t add charges to your customers’ bookings, there are no per-user or per-seat fees, and you decide whether to apply your own booking fees.
Ask:
- Will you need web developers to integrate the system?
- Is branding included, or is white-labelling an extra cost?
Little Box Office gives you three options, all included. Add a booking button to your existing website that lets visitors book without leaving your page. Use our design tool alongside your existing site so the booking experience looks and feels like yours. Or use Little Box Office as your full website and ticketing platform, with everything integrated in one place.
Check:
- Are training sessions charged per session?
- Is ongoing support included or locked behind premium packages?
Little Box Office clients receive training and ongoing support from the moment they are onboarded, with a dedicated support team available whenever you need them.
Ask:
- Are there setup or onboarding fees?
- How long does it take to go live?
- Is data migration included?
When you switch to Little Box Office, onboarding is included and new accounts can be live within days. Migration of your live events, along with all related data including customers and orders, is included at no charge. If you also need historical data brought across, we will scope that transparently and give you a clear cost and timeline before anything starts.
Check:
- Are fees charged even when no money changes hands?
Little Box Office does not charge commission on free or complimentary tickets.
Consider:
- Are you locked into long contracts?
- Are the features you need locked behind paid upgrades?
With Little Box Office you get everything from day one, new features as they're released, and no time-based contracts.
Ask:
- Can you export customer data freely?
- Does the provider use your data for their own marketing?
With Little Box Office, you have full ownership of your customer data, with access and export tools available at any time.
Look for:
- Forced account creation
- Third-party branding or ads distracting buyers
Little Box Office allows guests to check out without creating an account, with only your branding shown throughout the booking journey.
Check:
- Are funds held until after the event?
- Are payouts delayed or restricted?
With the Little Box Office platform, ticket revenue is sent directly to you in real time, allowing you to withdraw to your bank whenever you choose at no extra cost.
Consider:
- How easy is it to issue refunds or part-refunds?
- Who controls the process?
The Little Box Office platform lets you issue full or partial refunds in just a few clicks.
Consider:
- Is the platform actively evolving and improving over time?
- Are new features released regularly or only on major upgrade cycles?
- Can customer feedback influence the product roadmap?
At Little Box Office, new features are released every eight weeks, shaped by user feedback and industry best practice and innovation.
Consider:
- How often the platform experiences downtime or service disruption
- Whether updates are delivered without impacting day-to-day operations
- The overall reliability of the system during peak booking periods
Little Box Office is designed for high-availability performance, with a built-in queuing system to manage peak demand and ensure a smooth, stable booking experience for every customer.
